Two-Step Verification

BCFMA is enhancing the security of your personal information by introducing Two‑Step Verification for all My Account users on the website. This added layer of protection keeps your account secure by requiring:

  1. Your email and password, and
  2. A verification code sent to you through a secure method

Even if someone knows your password, your account remains protected.

How Two‑Step Verification Works

  1. Sign in to your BCFMA My Account using your existing email and password
  2. Choose your verification method:
    • Email Code – A 6‑digit code sent to your email
    • Microsoft Authenticator – A secure verification app on your mobile device
  3. Request a code by selecting Next
  4. Retrieve and enter the code, then select Verify

You only need to complete this setup the first time you log in. Future sign‑ins will automatically default to your preferred verification method.

Set Up Verification by Email

  • On your first sign‑in, select “Email Code to your email address” and choose Next

  • Your code expires in 15 minutes
  • Email delivery may take 5–10 minutes, depending on your provider
  • Check your junk/spam folder if it doesn’t appear

3 – Enter Your Code
