Board of Directors
A Board of Directors has been appointed and is committed to ensuring the Agency serves the interests of BC families. The board is responsible for developing the BCFMA’s strategic plan and oversight of the operations of the FMEP.
Richard J.M. Fyfe QC – Chair
Richard Fyfe is the Deputy Attorney General for British Columbia. Active in his community, Mr. Fyfe has been involved as a board member in a number of non-profit organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta, and a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Victoria.
Kevin Douglas Jardine – Director
Kevin Jardine is currently the Associate Deputy Minister of British Columbia’s Environmental Assessment Office (BCEAO). Mr. Jardine joined the provincial government in 2000 after almost a decade working as a natural resource management consultant in the private sector. Since joining the BC Public Service, Kevin has held executive roles in diverse areas of public policy and service delivery, including the justice and natural resource sectors, and served as deputy cabinet secretary for several years. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography (Honours) from the University of Victoria, and graduate diplomas in project management and executive leadership.
